Bib module and dutch commands

Hello! I have to say that I am new to ConteXt and never worked with LateX. I tried to use the bib-module for my .bib-files (which I created with BibDesk) It works fine when I am using english commands like \starttext, but if I am using dutch commands like \starttekst it just says `undefined control sequence´. Is there a possibilty to change that or do I have to stick with the english commands when using the Bib module? Thank you in advance. Tristan

how to set a referenced note to normal ?

Hi, please have a look at this minimal example: \starttext This is a test text\footnote[129]{for testing} with two footnotes \footnote[130]{the same purpose as fn. \note[129]}. \stoptext It would look better if "fn. 1" would be set the same type (not "1" being smaller and set high). Is there a pre-set command like \tx or such? Steffen

luatex and typescripts/fonts

Hi guys, I missed some of the excitement of the last two weeks because I was away. I tested the latest versions of ConTeXt and luatex and have some problems: 1. Is there a simple switch to between luatex and pdftex? If I want to write typescripts with the new name: syntax, I'd like to have the old typsecripts as well to remain compatible. So: is there something like a simple switch \ifluatex? 2. I tested with a number of OpenType fonts from my Adobe Type Classics CD: ConTeXt Mkiv can address these fonts (which is wonderful), but it does not read the kerning information. I don't know whether this is because Adobe's kerning tables are so big (kerning appears to work with the TeXGyre fonts and Latin Modern) or because the Adobe fonts have these tables included in a somewhat different way. Will be back with lots of more question re. Greek soon! All best Thomas

odd background color behavior

I am using ConTeXt ver: 2007.08.29 19:19 MKII fmt and the pdftex engine \definetextbackground[A][backgroundcolor=red] \setuptextbackground [backgroundoffset=0pt, offset=0pt, frame=off, location=text, background=color, backgroundcorner=round] gives a yellow background and \definetextbackground[A][backgroundcolor=yellow] gives a gray background. Any suggestions about to fix this? Alan

Using context with cweave

I created the file hello.w containing the following lines --- @** Hello. @c @<header files@>@; int main(void) { printf("Hello World.\n"); return(0); } @ Header files. @<header files@>+= #include <stdio.h> I run the commands cweave hello.w texexec --pdf --modules m-cweb hello.tex The text that is output in hello.pdf are cweb macros --- \input cwebmac \N{0}{1}Hello. \Y\B\X2:header files\X\7 . . . If I run pdftex hello.tex a correct pdf file is output. Are there other modules that I need to load to use ConTeXt with a cweave file? Is there a documentation file that I missed? I am using he ConTeXt that came with texlive-2007. If there is a cweave file that produces a nice layout like cweb-scr.pdf available for download please let me know. Thanks. Background colour of included PDF images

Dear ConTeXt users, I am making a presentation using ConTeXt, and wish to use some plain images. I am running into some trouble, especially with the background colour of the image, which I wish to force. Here is some information: 1. I make the image using Dia, and export it. 2. I include the EPS directly, and Acrobat doesn't like it. 3. I epstopdf the images, they come otu well, except that they are transparent and the images with black text and lines looks bad on my dark background presentation. I partially worked around the problem by using background=screen in my \useexternalfigure calls. However, I have a combination image, where the second image comes without the white filled background. Could you please tell me a way to force the background colour of my images to white? I really don't want to convert it to PNG or something, since PNG doesn't look nice after scaling, does it? :-) Thanks in advance.
