texmfstart texutil

In order to purge the temporary context files I did (throught an alias) texutil --purge This worked fine. Since the introduction of the ruby scripts this call now tells me: remark: 'texutil' is now part of 'texexec' warning: use 'texmfstart texutil' instead So I obediently call: texmfstart.rb texutil --purge This silently does nothing. Neither does work "texmfstart texexec --version" the same as did "texexec --version". The former giving the TeXExec version, the latter gave the installed ConTeXt formats. It is not "texmfstart texexec --purge" because I tried that too. On the other hand, replacing "texexec --silent --pdf --autopdf file.tex" by the same preceded with "texmfstart" does work as expected. \MetaFun

As I made a presentation concerning typesetting I used the "magic symbols" \TeX, \LaTex, \ConTeXt, \MetaFont, \MetaPost. I also used \MetaFun: no error (so it's a recognized command, I guess), but not special output, \MetaFun = MetaFun. I was hoping to have the nice MetaFun "shaked" logo... What am I missing? itemize and interlinespace

Hi, I am fighting to change the interlinespace in item text. For instance: \startitemize \item This is the text % here the interline space is very small of the first item \stopitemize By the way, is there a way to change the font depending on the item level? Olivier

Bug in index references (or feature?)

Hello Hans and others, I've found a strange behavior of the index references. If there are two (or more) references to the same term on one page, each one in another chapter, there will be two (or more) references to the same page number in the index. The attached sample demonstates it clearly: - If the same term is referred in different chapter ("Term" or "Another term"), then there are multiple references to the same page in the index. - It the term is referred more times within the same chapter ("Yet another term"), then there's only one reference in the Index. I consider this behavior a bit confusing. Maybe it has it's meaning when interaction is used (but it's inconsistent anyway), but it definitely look like an error in printed documents. What do you guess think this? Thanks, Richard
