White space around synonyms

Hello, please take a look at the output of the code appended. I'm plagued by incorrect white space around the output: to much before and after the expanded '\infull' and short versions. How to remedy that? Thanks ... it sure took me a while to find the '\executeifdefined' tidbit ... Minion/Myriad

Good evening. I've found there are some nice Minion/Myriad fonts included in the Acrobat Reader 7.x for Linux, and that they include glyphs needed for the typesetting Czech. But I don't know how to handle .otf fonts. I know there are some huge manuals on this topic, but I'm really short of time. So I dare to ask one lazy question: Does anybody here have all the necessary files (typescripts, metrics, virtual fonts, .otf translated to .pfb etc)? Would he be so nice to zip and send it to me? (Perhaps with a sample file showing how to use it?) I'd be really thankful for that. (I know it's not a great reward.) Your sincerely lazy being short of time :-) Michal Kvasnicka

Footnotes lost in description terms

Hello, When some footnotes are put in description terms, their number appears in the terms but their text don't appear at the bottom of the page. Is it a known limitation? m-graph: metapost errors in demo

Salvete, is it just me or does texexec --pdf -mode=demo m-graph really not work? I get very many metapost errors, starting with a bunch of ! volgende maps

Hoi, Onderweg van/naar bachotek hebben taco en ik wat zitten bomen over de volgende maps. Er zijn her en der nogal wat font artikelen (oa over latin modern) die we nooit in de maps hebben gezien, dus leek het ons aardig in de volgende maps wat van die artikelen op te nemen. We kwamen al snel op pakweg 100 bladzijden. Als dat wat jullie betreft ok is, dan zullen taco en ik de komende tijd wat auteurs benaderen. Hello everyone, Great thanks to Mojca Miklavec, that was definitely a font problem. Using antykwa-torunska did solve it. >> \usetypescript[modern-base][t2a] >> \setupbodyfont[modern] > >Latin modern doesn't have cyrillic letters. I took the code from wiki. Cyrillic glyphs display problem with standalone ConTeXt distribution under win32

Hello everyone, I use standalone ConTeXt distribution for win32, mswincontext.zip downloaded a week ago, and never got proper cyrillic characters. I get latin "character codes" instead: for instance, \cyrillicDJE produces "DJE" in the output pdf, but not "�". At the same time \Tsedilla (cp1250) makes the proper glyph. I found that live ConTeXt at contextgarden.org behaves in the similar way. Neither of recommendations/samples at http://wiki.contextgarden.net/Russian worked for me. The standalone context distribution does contain all necessary fonts and regimes, so there must be some deeper problem. Could anyone, please, tell me what is going on? Here is my test.tex. I tried it in utf, cp1251, cp866, all producing the similar result. Float caption feature request

Hello, In LaTeX (don't remember whether this is generic or specific to one of the packages I used to use), the 'caption' command for floats came along this way: \caption[optional short version]{Caption} If one uses the 'optional short version' bit, the Table of Figures/Tables present the short version rather than the whole caption (which in my case is long paragraphs and makes the TOF/TOT unpractical). I would very much like to have that functionality in context. Thanks for any hints on how to achieve this. Poking around in the source did not lead this newbie to a starting point ... Joh
