What would you call the core TeX-commands

If you had to name the core TeX-commands something, what would it be? Suggestions so far: initex: As initex is the command used to create TeX formats and only contains the core TeX-commands coretex: As they are the core TeX-commands The reason I ask is because I've written the new core-TeX-syntax-definition for Vim and I'd like to get the name right. XML, units and mu

Hello, Please check out this example: \usemodule[newpml] \usetypescript[modern-base][texnansi] \setupbodyfont[12pt,modern] \starttext This `mu' looks good: 250\,\textmu{}l\par \startXMLdata <iphys><mtext>This `mu' doesn't: </mtext><apply><unit/><mn>250</mn><msymbol><Micro/><Liter/></msymbol></apply></iphys> \stopXMLdata \stoptext How can I stop the units mu from being italic? Defining hyphenation sites that will not produce a dash?

Hello My ConTeXted XML document contains a number of constructs like this pRS&thinspace;403&endash;<math><mn>9</mn><mo>×</mo></math>Myc/TEV/<i>URA3</i>/TEV/His<sub>8</sub> (molecular genetical plasmid/genotype deinitions - in case you wonder ;0). This predictably produces line break/hyphenation trouble. I'm already using a mapping rule like this \defineXMLargument [hyph] {\-} but I was wondering whether there's an analogue that won't produce a hypneation-dash if the manually defined hyphenation site is used. Chapter-wise bibliographies and multi-chapter citations

Hello, First: I've put together a minimal example for this problem which can be found at http://www.johannesgraumann.net/copy_of_profession/bibprob/ Second: The problem ... When I declare chapterspecific bibliographies like so: \usemodule[bib] \setupbibtex[database={bibprob.bib}] \setuppublications[sorttype=bbl] \starttext \chapter{1} \cite[authoryear][garrels:96]\par \cite[authoryears][gavin:06] \section{References} \placepublications[criterium=chapter] \chapter{2} \cite[authoryear][garrels:96]\par \cite[authoryears][gavin:06]\par \cite[authoryear][giaever:02] \section{References} \placepublications[criterium=chapter] \stoptext I run into the problem, that shared citations (in this case 'garrels:96' and 'gavin:06' are only printed following the first '\placepublications' call and not the second. I'm collating multiple publications into a thesis and since they all deal with similar themes, there's a lot of overlap. My university requires chapter-specific complete bibliographies, so the status quo is bad for me. Thanks for any hints, Joh

I have a simple formula where I would like to use the times symbol and the directive does not appear to be working. wrapping a long URL without added spaces

I can wrap a long URL using \hyphenatedurl, but not without getting some unwanted spaces before the numerous “/”s in the URL. I expect that I have missed something elementary, again. Still, my efforts to avoid the spaces have thus far been unsuccessful, so any help would be gratefully received.
