Overfull boxes using m-cweb

Hello, I am running into overfull boxes when including a weaved cweb file into a context document. The original reference to the cwebmac.tex file (the plain TeX macro) is commented out and replaced by \usemodule[cweb]. The cweb macros appear to expand something into \*11ptmmmt* which seems to have something to do with it. Is there anyone here with experience and deep (Con)TeX(t) knowledge who understands what is happening? compound titles, lists and headers

Dear list, my publisher forces me to set different things as titles, in headers and table of contents. In some cases \nolist and \nomarking aren't enough. here are my actual definitions: ---- \def\Untertitel#1{\blank[3pt]{\ss\bf #1}\blank} % ok \def\Titel#1#2{{\nohyphens\chapter{#1}\Untertitel{#2}}} % ok \def\KomplexTitel#1#2#3{{\writetolist[chapter]{#3}\nohyphens\title{#1}\U ntertitel{#2}}} ---- with ---- \start \setupheadertexts[][manual entry][part][] % normally defined as [][chapter][part][] \KomplexTitel{Main chapter title}{chapter subtitle}{toc entry} Much text \stop % of other headertext ---- Real life example: \start \setupheadertexts [][Vorwort][][] \KomplexTitel{Die neutrale Schweiz und das globale Dorf}% {Vorwort von Prof.|~|Dr.|~|Heinrich Ott}% {Vorwort Prof.|~|Dr.|~|Heinrich Ott:\\Die neutrale Schweiz und das globale Dorf} ... listings.sty

Hello, I suggested to the author of the very feature rich LaTeX-Listings package, Carsten Heinz, to port this package to ConTeXt, and it seems, that he is interested. But before doing it, there are some questions: * What do Hans and other people thing about that? * listings.sty uses keyval.sty, how is the proper ConTeXt-way to do the same things as keyval, or should listings stay with keyval? U3D (embedded 3D objects)

Hello, is there support for .u3d files in ConTeXt available or planned? This would take advantage of Acrobat 7 support for these 3D data files. There is a LaTeX package (http:// www.tug.org/tex-archive/macros/latex/contrib/movie15/) that does that, and it even works on my Mac. Thanks, Matthias

Fleurons

Dear All I am in the process of learning the wonders of Context and enjoying the challenge. My Context is the stand alone version for Windows which I downloaded from the Pragma site. I'm getting used to using the Scite editor although it was a little difficult in the beginning. Just now I'm putting together some short stories and am having fun playing about with layout and using different kinds of fonts. Also I'm reading 'The Elements of Typographic Style' by Robert Bringhurst which is absolutely superb! I would never have thought that a book on typography would be so easy to read. In Bringhurst's book he mentions fleurons - "A horticultural dingbat" which I would like to access. I have looked through the Context manuals but with no success. Could someone give me some hints? Font size in FLOWchart module.

I am using the flowchart module to create various goodies. What I don't know how to do is regulate the size of the font for the text that goes inside the little boxes. Problem with encoding, XML and writetolist...

Hi all, I have problem with chars encoding now; I have updated ConTeXt sometimes in January; before the time I was using old (year) version. In this prehistorical version the problem was not present. What is the stuff? The following code generates content with titles without spaces -- accented characters are replaced with \char XXX variant, so during reading TUI line TeX gobbles a space after XXX as a part of <number> syntax rule. Can I do something? With encoding? With XML? Substack in Context

Hi, What is the context equivalent of latex's substack? How do I type the following $$ \sum_{\substack i \in P \\ j \in Q} a_{ij} $$ I search on source browser shows that this command was defined in newmat but pruned out. Is there a replacement for it? Is it safe to simply copy the definitions from m-newmat.tex and use them in my project? mswincontext.zip installation

Hi all, I am experiencing some trouble using mswincontext.zip. I have properly installed perl and ruby as the wiki says. (http://wiki.contextgarden.net/Windows_Installation#Stand-alone_ConTeXt_dist ribution) But when it comes to use cdemo.bat I got: >texmfstart newtexexec.rb --autopdf --pdf demo-tex.tex TeXExec | processing document 'demo-tex.tex' TeXExec | provide ctx file TeXExec | tex processing method: context TeXExec | TeX run 1 TeXExec | tex engine: pdfetex TeXExec | tex format: cont-en TeXExec | progname: context This is pdfeTeX, Version 3.141592-1.30.3-2.2 (Web2c 7.5.5) \write18 enabled. I can't find the format file `cont-en.fmt'! TeXExec | runtime: 2.594 >Exit code: 0 I thought this was a "click and go" package installation. I guess I have to do some format creation and all that, but I have nothing TeXy installed (just the mswincontext.zip). What do I need? Thanks in advance, jima
