New context Release notes

Hi there, For those of you who are interested, Hans has released a new ConTeXt last week, and I've created a release notes pages for it here: http://contextgarden.net/Context_2004.12.06 Highlights: * texfont.pl is now version 2.2.1. From now on, it uses internal filename globbing (using a new switch: --pattern=<wildcard>) instead of the shell wildcard expansion. Obviously, this means that the commandline has changed. * most other changes are bugfixes, follow the link for those. Greetings, Taco

recent font problems

Hello out there, OK, I am having a bad day, but that doesn't stop me posting ... if you (Wolfgang) have font problems: please run the code that I mentioned in all my recent posts: Something like: -------------------------------------------------- \usetypescript [adobekb][\defaultencoding] \usetypescript[palatino][\defaultencoding] \setupbodyfont[palatino,12pt] \starttext \input tufte \stoptext -------------------------------------------------- If this goes wrong: post the relevant pieces of your logfile. This is the only way I can help. Please do not make assumptions about strange file names and please do not send me strange typescripts that I have never seen before (at least I forgot about them). Just run the code and post your results. After that we can try to find the rest of the problems. LaTeX2ConTeXt : external links not work after recompiled

Hi all, Just recompiled the doc LaTeX2ConTeXt (http://www.berenddeboer.net/tex/LaTeX2ConTeXt.pdf). The compiling process is OK under tetex-beta 2.99.4. But all external links not work! When I click on them, I go to the 1st page of document. Internal links work well. Anyone could help me please. Thank you in advance, Quy NGUYEN-DAI

scite does not build output

Hi, I have some problems with scite: it generates no output but generates this error message: >texmfstart texexec.pl --pdf test.tex >Das System kann die angegebene Datei nicht finden. (-> this means that the system cannot find the file) If I start this in comand promt I get a long message (see at the end of this mail). The script is complaining about "unknown file type: texmfscripts" but an output is generated. Why is it not working from scite? Tables ..

Hi, I would like to use multipage tables. I had a look on the wiki and there are 2 ways of doing that. What is the advantage of using \startlinetable ? One of these seems to be that we can repeat columns .. Is Context going keep going with \startlinetable or not ? (As no doc exists and its developpement seems to be not finished yet) ? Thanks.
