Hi, I uploaded a new beta. This one has a prelude to a new implementation of texexec. I can run texexec --make --all should work as well as: texexec --make --all --engine=pdftex texexec --make --all --engine=aleph texexec --make --all --engine=xetex it assumes a new recent version of pdftex/mpost currently it's juts a call to ctxtools. I'd like to know if it works ok for miktex as well. I want to avoid ini/rme files. i also made a new cversion checker, for the moment use ctxtools --check it does some more testing and later I will add some cnf parsing. svg inclusion

footnotes indentation

Hello Hans and others, I'd really like to get things like this done: |text text text text text | |------------- (a shorter rule) | 1 hello | 2 footnote | 10 tenth footnote that | wraps like this |---------------------------------------------- would it make sense to add a keyword to setupfootnotes like 'indent' or 'leftskip' or ... that inserts a leftskip in the (foot)note placement? The formatting should be more configurable. Thomas for example wanted to have something like -------------------- 1 note that will wrap like this? Suggestions > welcome. Well done! I am impressed with the enormous speed you have implementing these things, so I am a bit scared to make comments. Still... I'm not sure how you handle versioning at the moment (it would be nice if the database/fs could store older versions of stuff as well), and it makes sense to allow/create downloads of "TDS-ed" zip files for easy installation. TeXShow Web/XML

Hi Patrick, I am now working on a rewrite of the texshow perl script, and we still have to come up with an interface for the interface between the perl script and web version. For the immediate (and not so immediate) future, this will be just queries from texshow to the web using a GET url, I have no plans for an editting interface in the script (for now). How do you feel about this URL convention: <cgi>?interface=<interface>&previous=<unixtime> <cgi> == http://texshow.contextgarden.net/query.cgi <interface> == cont-en OR cont-nl OR .. <unixtime> == unix timestamp of the previous query from this particular instance of texshow And then the CGI returns an XML snippet containing all of the changed command definitions. Hi all, Last I heard, Wybo was re-writing texfont (thanks and apologies!) Seems like there are further changes I'd like to be able to make (handle afm + ttf, some Unicode handling) in the next few months. What's the status? cheers, adam
