It really doesn't hurt if we define two languages nb and nn (such as there are multiple languages for Czech/Slovak, Croatian/Bosnian/Serbian), and "remove" no, in the sense that no can be left as a synonym to nb only. Luatex beta 0.30.0 released

Hi all, I have just uploaded the archives for luatex 0.30.0. This release matches SVN revision #1521. New features: * Readable \tex internal params that are counts, attrs, or dimens are now returned as numbers instead of strings, and skips as node objects. derived colors (mkiv)

Hi, there is currently no bookkeeping ('name-->id') for derived colors in mkiv; i.e. \definecolor[foo] [black] does not register 'foo'. \csname(ca:foo)\endcsname is the only way to access the color id. While this in no problem in TeX code, using this in lua is not very handy. I tried ugly stuff like c_id = format("\\csname(ca:%s)\\endcsname",c) but when I compare 'c_id' with the id of black, the values '1' and 1 (id of black) differ when compared. Mhhhh. I think that the best way to handle derived colors properly is to add their name to the attributes list too. It's only a small patch and it shouldn't do any harm. Best wishes, Peter

ConTeXt MK IV possibility to run different language options

Hi I've got an wish for an additonal command option in the context command. Up to now there is no possibility to run context in MK IV mode in different languages. Here is a way one could solve this: as far as I see it context invokes the luatools command and for a non-english source-file one could use luatools --run cont-de myfile Now why can't wan edit the context-command with a --lang option in the following way context --lang=xx myfile so that the --lang=xx option has a change-option in luatools so that the --run option is change. context myfile invokes luatools --run cont-en myfile context --lang=xx invokes luatools --run cont-xx myfile, where xx stands for the countrycode.
