\showlayout (more wiki stuff)

Hi, Here is a question about \showlayout … is that not supposed to print different variable values on each page? I tried this: \setuppagenumbering [alternative=doublesided] \definelayout[1][rightmargin=5mm,width=fit] \definelayout[even][rightmargin=80mm,width=fit] \definelayout[odd][rightmargin=50mm,width=fit] \setuplayout \starttext \showlayout[3] \stoptext and it updates the frame correctly on each page, but always prints the initial layout variables … I have 3 pages where only the frames differ. I thought this command was supposed to produce subformula numbers, but perhaps I misunderstood something in the syntax ? startfigure / placestartfigure confusion

Hi all, I was trying to document the \marking()() command (which is in itself a bit of an odd thing, but not the point of this message). It is supposedly to be used inside of \startfigure … \stopfigure (lmtx) or with the old name: \placestartfigure … \placestopfigure (mkii/mkiv) but as I was trying to produce an example, I discovered that \startfigure … \stopfigure does not seem to work at all ? no output appears. Is this command supposed to still work, even? % MWE (assuming I understand the supposed syntax correctly): \starttext \startfigure[mycow][cow.pdf][width=4cm] ... \stopfigure some text \stoptext — Taco Hoekwater E: taco(a)bittext.nl genderfluid (all pronouns)

\offset

Hi, It looks like the \offset command is not quite exact? See attached output, which I thought should be exactly centred horizontally. Instead, it shifts too far to the left. Normally I would suspect a stray space somewhere, but I do not see it... Best wishes, Taco

lmtx \fillinline bug

Hi, Something goes wrong rather oddly in lmtx with \fillinline. In vmode, it does not actually show the fill-in line, but then it does remember it because it will appear in the *next* paragraph. mkiv is fine, for comparison. Best wishes.
