shortsetup and environment

Dear Hans, it seems to me that \shortsetup ignores cd:command with type="environment". Namespace for users

Hi Hans and all others. Is it possible to add a command to allow users to define their own namespace for commands and modules to avoid problems with macros in the core. I would suggest to use i slightly modified version of the \definesystemvariable command. \def\????prefix {????} \def\@@@@prefix {@@@@} \def\defineuservariable#1{\setevalue{\????prefix#1}{\@@@@prefix#1}} Another question how many letters should we use for our prefixes. Two avoid problems with other users we should use a combination of a user prefix 'xx' (e.g. ws (two letters) or wolf (four letters) for me) and a command prefix 'yy' as already used by ConTeXt (e.g. sf for SpeciFics). --> \defineuservariable{xxyy} or \defineuservariable{xxxxyy} What do you think about my idea. cont-??.xml and ruby

Hi there, I've started a small library that allows you to access the cont-??.xml files from ruby. There will be a ruby-gem shortly called 'contextsetup'. \maxnofMPgraphics = 8000 and beginners manual

Hi Hans, compiling beginners manual (ma-cb-cz) I had to increase \maxnofMPgraphics = 8000 in meta-ini.tex and refresh format. I tried not to have special format for this manual and gave this redefinition to ma-cb-style.tex. But graphics were spoiled on the first two pages. Is there some way how to bypass a spacial format? The manual (screen mode) has even number of pages. So the last one is added the total number to be odd. But on this last (empty) page the graphic is spoiled, see attch. What is wrong? The manual translation went ahead during summer, more then half chapters are done. Thanks Vit
