Hi Massimiliano, according to tex/texmf-context/tex/context/interface/mkiv/i-context.pdf, both inherit from \setupparagraph. I’d say that these are equivalent. And strc-tag.mkiv includes the following code: \let\startpar\startparagraph \let\stoppar \stopparagraph So, they are equivalent. I hope it helps, Pablo -- http://www.ousia.tk
