But if I understand TeX right, then there will be only 2 possibilities: 1.) \footnote{bla \starthyphenatedurl www.%.com \stophyphenatedurl bla bla} or 2.) \ChangeCatcodeOfPercent \footnote{...\hyphenatedurl{...%...}...} \RestoreCatcodeOfPercent Is this right?
