Here, on Windows 11, the bars do not appear on sumatra, adobe, or nitropdf.

I checked on MacOS with Preview, Acrobat Pro and PDF Studio – no bars in your PDF. But your code gives apparently correct results on my machine, ConTeXt ver: 2023.09.26 18:19 LMTX fmt: 2023.10.19 Maybe try to re-make the format?
