[NTG-context] cross-reference query (\note)

\note[xx] produces the footnote number of a note named “xx” as a superscript. What I need is a reference of the form [see 4na above] say, where a is the footnote number. So how can I get/print this footnote number as regular (unsuperscripted) text? Again, thanks for any help or pointers. Alan
