(you can of course create files with utf 8 filenames on windows)

I doubt simple fopen() will manage accented file names...

I think the problem was missunderstood. It is not filenames including accents, but the command line not being utf-8, which seems easier to solve (wmain, then transforming wchar_t's to utf-8). Regards
