Summary: corrupted SMask

Initial Comment:
if an image with transparency is included, its SMask
will contain funny stuff. with the attached image, for
example, parts of the map file will be written to the
pdf file (don't open it in a viewer but an editor!).

I can't reproduce this with either 1.40.5, 1.40.6-rc1, trunk
or stable.
