I guess something like this:

\getfiguredimensions[texit.pdf]

\noheaderandfooterlines

\dorecurse{\noffigurepages}

When both document have the same size you can replace TeXpage with a 
"page" layout.

\dorecurse{\noffigurepages}{\externalfigure[...][page=\recurselevel]}
\stoplayout
