hm.

# cat test.mp
hobbiestextext := true;
beginfig(1)
    draw textext("MetaFun") ;
    endfig;
end

# mpost -interaction=batchmode -mem=metafun '\relax;   input test.mp;'

# gs test.1

You should see the text at the bottom left.  It seems that there is a
string _s_  not initialized.
