I was thinking about posting it on the Wiki as well but decided not to
because it is way too opinionated and reflects purely my experiences.
Also I would like to maintain this guide and it is difficult to manage
contributions made as edits on Wiki (I don't get notified).  However, I
don't claim any copyright to this guide so feel free to steal any parts
you want.
