Easier than counters:

    \definelabel [QQ][text=,headcolor=red]
         \startxcell one \stopxcell
         \startxcell two \QQ[there] \stopxcell
         \startxcell alpha \QQ\stopxcell
         \startxcell beta \QQ[here]  \stopxcell
