ok, another thing you can try:

fix mtx-update.lua

     ["linux-64"]       = "linux-64",
     ["linux64"]        = "linux-64",
     --
     ["linuxmusl-64"]   = "linuxmusl-64",

the problem then is that it gets overwritten so yoou need to comment a 
line in first-setup.sh that does that

it might get the right bins then
