So my solution now is:

   draw bottomboundary OverlayBox withpen pensquare scaled 1mm withcolor black;
   clip currentpicture to OverlayBox;


       \bTD a \eTD\bTD b \eTD
       \bTD A \eTD\bTD B \eTD
