well, it's not deliberately .. just that i never use paths with spaces 
in tex workflows so it never got tested

in grph-inc.lua patch the gmatch pattern:

     if h[iv["global"]] then
         for s in gmatch(pathlist,",* *([^,]+)") do
             if not table.contains(t,s) then
                 t[#t+1] = s
             end
         end
     end
