no need to feel sorry, since i'm a happy windows user (desktop apps) as well as a happy linux users (server apps) at the same time; it's just that i haven't installed/figured out anything related to 'patch' and i prefer to see things side by side (it's the reason why i have vim installed; it has a nice diff viewer)
