OK, but without -dAutoRotatePages=/None the conversion is OK. If the
orientation would be "hardcoded too deply" I can imagine that printers
might experience problems while printing files produced by gnuplot.
What's wrong with %%Orientation: Landscape?

How should I create proper PDF out of that file then?
