The version in the TeXLive repository (now revision 3005) provides the lines:

Compiled with libpng 1.2.14; using libpng 1.2.14 Compiled with zlib 1.2.3; using zlib 1.2.3 Compiled with xpdf version 3.01

But I don't see these lines when I run "pdftex --version" using the disk image.

I think Martin's one shows the above lines, because he updated printversionandexit() in lib.a. -- Akira Kakuto
