backslash in \pdfpagesattr
Hi, I've noticed by accident that if there is a backslash in \pdfpagesattr toks, /Pages object is not created at all. \catcode`\/=0 \catcode`\\=12 /pdfpagesattr={\}?/end Doesn't hurt, since backslash is rather pointless in /Pages dict (?), but nothing like that happen in \pdfpageattr; backslash is written as is. Planned behaviour or side effect? pdfTeX 1.2, 1.3. Regards, -- Pawe/l Jackowski P.Jackowski@gust.org.pl

I cannot reproduce it (pdfTeX-1.30.0-rc1):
7 0 obj <<
/Type /Pages
/Count 1
/Kids [2 0 R]
\
>> endobj
The /Pages dict and the backslash are present. (Of course the
lonely backslash is invalid PDF syntax here.)
Yours sincerely

Sure it is. Pdf code viewer I use silently discards syntax errors so the object simply disappear. Shame on me, I should check more carefully. Sorry. BR, -- Pawe/l Jackowski P.Jackowski@gust.org.pl
