Fixing this is complicated by the fact that since the time trunk started rotting we got a new release of TeX, so a fix is much more complicated then copying pdftexdir into a TL2010 tree, as the old change files won't tangle anymore. :-( So my question is: Is there a minimal fix that fixes just the getline problem and makes trunk _as_is_ compile again?
