I've started this by merging the change files and want to end up with pdftex1.ch (applied to tex.web) and pdftex2.ch (merged with all the web2c-changes). extra.ch will have to stay, but will be renamed to pdfetex.ch4. Best Martin -- http://www.tm.oneiros.de
