Hi all, if I put \setupoutput[pdf] \setupcolors[state=start] \setupcolor[rgb] \starttext \color[red]{asdf} \stoptext I get the text in the pdf-file without any color. Here is an extract from the log-file: This is pdfeTeX, Version 3.14159-1.00b-pretest-20020211-2.1 (Web2c 7.3.7x) (format=cont-en 2002.12.23) 21 JAN 2003 11:35 entering extended mode \write18 enabled. ... color : system rgb is global activated ... Has anyone a hint? With many thanks in advance Albrecht

Sorry, the trouble was caused by false color defaults of the Acrobat Reader Preferences. Greetings Albrecht
