Hans, after testing the new \xmlinlineprettyprinttext, I discovered the following: \starttext \startbuffer[a] \command \stopbuffer \typeinlinebuffer[a] vs. \typeinlinebuffer[a][option=TEX] \stoptext \typeinlinebuffer doesn’t have \tt as default font.
