All, I am using the Scite editor provided by one of the Context dristributions. Is there a way to include modes with one of the various compiling commands?

no, but you can (1) temporary put \enablemode[...] at the to of the file (2) use a separate file where you set the mode, and load the file Hans ----------------------------------------------------------------- Hans Hagen | PRAGMA ADE Ridderstraat 27 | 8061 GH Hasselt | The Netherlands tel: 038 477 53 69 | fax: 038 477 53 74 | www.pragma-ade.com | www.pragma-pod.nl -----------------------------------------------------------------

btw, you can make a local scite options file and add menu items (key bindings); so you can map say ctrl-F10 to process your doc using your mode; see context.properties for examples); local scite files are per directory Hans ----------------------------------------------------------------- Hans Hagen | PRAGMA ADE Ridderstraat 27 | 8061 GH Hasselt | The Netherlands tel: 038 477 53 69 | fax: 038 477 53 74 | www.pragma-ade.com | www.pragma-pod.nl -----------------------------------------------------------------
