Indeed, we have in typo-del.mkiv \definedelimitedtext [\v!quote][\v!quotation] However, when the user then changes options using \setupquotation, \startquote\stopquote also gets modified. In the minimal example below, it is necessary to uncomment \setupquote in order to restore normal quote text.
