All, If you're not aware of this one, consider: \placeformula[-] \startformula [-2,2)=\{x:\, -2\le x < 2\}. \stopformula Won't compile, but try: \placeformula[-] \startformula\relax [-2,2)=\{x:\, -2\le x < 2\}. \stopformula
