In the past I have used the chart module for a little flow chart in a presentation. I wanted to make again flow charts. But I did not get it working. I took this code from the internet. So I suppose this should work. \usemodule[chart] \starttext \startFLOWchart[cells] \startFLOWcell \name {first} \location {1,1} \shape {singledocument} \text {not really a document} \stopFLOWcell \stopFLOWchart \FLOWchart[cells] \stoptext But it gives: http://www.decebal.nl/ConTeXt/flowchart.pdf The log file created is at: http://www.decebal.nl/ConTeXt/flowchart.log The only things I see that could mean something are: systems : no file 'cont-sys.tex', using 'cont-sys.rme' instead pdfTeX warning: pdftex: no GlyphToUnicode entry has been inserted yet! contextgarden does not have write18 enabled. So, to get MP graphics, you need to add \runMPgraphicsfalse on the top of your file. In the minimals, write18 is enabled, so you do not need that line. I do not know why metapost is not part of your minimals installation. Aditya

Hi all, As a matter of fact with any document using the chart module, mkii stops with \wait= This happens with the following minimal test, for example: %%% begin bug-chart.tex \usemodule[chart] \startFLOWchart[cells] \startFLOWcell \location {1,1} \text{This is just a test} \stopFLOWcell \stopFLOWchart \starttext \FLOWchart[cells] \stoptext %%% end bug-chart.tex However with mkiv, everything is fine. Found the problem. The first time I used ConTeXt it was not in the repository and I downloaded it. Now it is and I installed it from the repository (openSUSE). But when doing this metapost is not installed. So I installed texlive-bin-metapost and texlive-metapost. Now it works. Are there any other packages that would be smart to install? -- Cecil Westerhof
