Ok the test document (first.tex) compiles, great! But I can't seem to install fonts. $ texfont --ve=microsoft --co=consolas --makepath --install TeXFont 2.2.1 - ConTeXt / PRAGMA ADE 2000-2004 processing aborted : unknown tex root --help : show some more info

Does (or rather "did") this even work in the old minimal distribution? I think that I had to CD to $HOME/tex and source setuptex from there.

$ source $(HOME)/tex/setuptex $(HOME)/tex

(assuming you unpacked directly in your home)
