showfont.pdf does not show fonts
in okular i see no example in the middle of pages 2-8
on page 9 i can see a formula.
Is it my fault or is the file broken?

None of that. The document is simply designed that way. On the bottom of page there's source code that is needed to get that particular font working and on top it's some text typeset with that font. Mojca
