\showlayout doesn't (2006.10.04 beta)
This test file doesn't produce the frames around the margins (2006.10.04 beta): \starttext \showlayout \input tufte \stoptext I can't test it on the live context (the missing cont-new.mkii) to make sure it's not something silly on my part. Something wrong with \showframe

The garden now works again, but only until Hans uploads the new beta, so keep fingers crossed that he won't forget to add that file in the next release ;) Mojca
