Hi there, I'm afraid that note numbering in body text is wrong in latest beta. Here you have a sample that shows the bug: \setupnotation[footnote][number=no] \setuphead[chapter][number=no] \starttext \chapter{First chapter} one\footnote{two} \section{First section} three\footnote{four} \stoptext There should be no note numbering, but the body text takes the sectioning command number for the footnote references (which is obviously wrong). Many thanks for your help, Pablo -- http://www.ousia.tk
