Hi, is there a way to specify additional characters (e.g. &) to be used for hyphenation of urls using \hyphenatedurl{...}? TIA, - Ralf

in what respect? splitting should take place before an & (see scanurl in supp-lan.tex) Hans ----------------------------------------------------------------- Hans Hagen | PRAGMA ADE Ridderstraat 27 | 8061 GH Hasselt | The Netherlands tel: 038 477 53 69 | fax: 038 477 53 74 | www.pragma-ade.com | www.pragma-pod.nl -----------------------------------------------------------------

That's exactly what I want. And I thought I've seen some cases where URLs were not hyphenated. Maybe I'm just mistaken. I'll come back if I find an example again... Thanks, - Ralf

i've played a bit with special hyphenation patterns for url's but there are some limitations in the current tex (lc code mess); it could be made to work, so we can think of a couple of variants and reserve a few pseudo languages for them Hans ----------------------------------------------------------------- Hans Hagen | PRAGMA ADE Ridderstraat 27 | 8061 GH Hasselt | The Netherlands tel: 038 477 53 69 | fax: 038 477 53 74 | www.pragma-ade.com | www.pragma-pod.nl -----------------------------------------------------------------
