Opportunity to include ConTeXt code into a LaTeXe environment
Hi @ all, I'm glad about the opportunities ConTeXt gives me to create Coverpages. Now that I have a working example of a coverpage my question is, if it is possible to include that ConTeXt-code into Latex to create a book. If yes, how is the procedure to do so. Kind regards Martin

Hi @ all,

Now that I have a working example of a coverpage my question is, if it is possible to include that ConTeXt-code into Latex to create a book. If yes, how is the procedure to do so. hmm, i think that the only pratical way consists in make a pdf with context and then include it into latex.
BTW, i'm starting to think about the opposite: how to include Latex code into Context code . -- luigi http://wiki.contextgarden.net/User:Luigi.scarso/Merry_Christmas_2007 .... it's new . it's powerful . it's luatex . http://www.luatex.org

Hi Luigi, would be nice to let me know if you found an opportortunity to do so. because I'm much more familiar to the LaTeXe-syntax and just started with context a few weeks ago. And all in all I just don't wan't to miss all the syntax of LaTeXe... Greetings Martin

I've been where you are at... There is no getting around it, you'll have to let LaTeX go. In the long run you'll be much better off for it ;-) Best wishes Idris -- Professor Idris Samawi Hamid, Editor-in-Chief International Journal of Shi`i Studies Department of Philosophy Colorado State University Fort Collins, CO 80523 -- Using Opera's revolutionary e-mail client: http://www.opera.com/mail/

A ConTeXt user wrote a few years ago a module to use LaTeX syntax in ConTeXt, a can't find it on the web but I have a it still on my machine. I never tried more than the test files in the package and don't know if it still works perfect but it shows it can be done. Wolfgang

Can you put it on wiki ? -- luigi it's new . it's powerful . it's luatex . http://www.luatex.org

I have some updated files somewhere, with full support for LaTeX's tabular, I needed that for a project. There is a bit more to it, I'll try to uncover them. Best wishes, Taco PS I've been offline for almost a week, otherwise I would have replied earlier
