I am not aware of a standalone Metapost distribution, but you might install MiKTeX:

http://www.miktex.org http://www.miktex.org/

Then you would have Metapost, together with TeX and a lot of other goodies.

Thanks for the reply. I work with MikTeX and TeXnicCenter. You mean that instead of a standalone program I can incorporate the MetaPost figure(s) directly into LaTeX and view the results from there? It is possible to create pdf, png, jpeg files from the same MetaPost code? I need these graphics for other applications (like Openoffice, etc.,). Thanks again, constantine
