This looks odd to me, is this intended or fixable? The subscript under the widehat uses a different i. \starttext $(x-x_i)$ vs. $\widehat{(x-x_i)}$ \stoptext

$(x-x_i)$ vs. $\widehat[i=]{(x-x_i)}$
