Hello, IMHO space should be gobbled after \startmode[...], and it should *not* be gobbled after \externalfigure[...]. But ConTeXt does it the other way round: \enablemode[test] \starttext bla \startmode[test] text for test-mode \stopmode bla \externalfigure[hacker][width=3em] bla\blank[big] Now with workarounds:\blank[big] bla \startmode[test]% text for test-mode \stopmode bla \externalfigure[hacker][width=3em]\ bla \stoptext What do you think? often spaces after ] are gobbled, which has to do with the fact that there can be (in this case) a third optional argument ----------------------------------------------------------------- Hans Hagen | PRAGMA ADE Ridderstraat 27 | 8061 GH Hasselt | The Netherlands tel: 038 477 53 69 | fax: 038 477 53 74 | www.pragma-ade.com | www.pragma-pod.nl -----------------------------------------------------------------
