Unrelated to arranging. Something is still amiss, perhaps unrelated to the above. style of the left header text is ignored on even pages! \setupheader[style=smallcaps] \setupheadertexts[] \setupheadertexts[Hello][] \starttext \dorecurse{6}{\input knuth \page} \stoptext Notice that the headers on even pages don't have the correct style.
