Hi again, if a "typing" environment with line numbering goes over a page break, the line numbers start at 1 again on the new page. It doesn’t happen with \start/stoplinenumbering. Ah, thank you! (Wolfgang too!) I can’t remember why I chose "file", and looking at the source also doesn’t enlighten me. \setuptyping[numbering=file] sets \setuplinenumbering[method=file], but the "file" method doesn’t seem to be defined (at least it’s missing in the syntax interface).
