Re: [NTG-context] Magazine: OpenType Pro fonts in ConTeXt
Also, I've noticed odd kerning with apostrophes, in both Jenson Pro and, it seems, in your sample on page 1 where the word "Adobe's" looks quite odd. Any ideas what's going on with that? A mistake in the metric files? And how would this be corrected; go into the kerning pairs and adjust them for this glyph? Bruce

I agree.

Frankly, I don't know. It's annoying. I suspect it's probably as you say. So, other than font bugs, what's missing? adam -- =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Adam T. OSF variant, obviously (typographically, that'd generally be the default font). I've also created variants to remap the superior and tabular figures into the normal figure slots. This produces nicer footnote marks (well, in LaTeX; don't know how to get it working in ConTeXt) in the first case, and nicer numeric tables on the other. I've only manually created these for the "regular" font, since there's little point in bold or italic numbers in either of these cases. Bruce

Shall I rename the osft1.enc you sent me earlier as ecOSF.enc, and add that to the distribution? Have anything else to contribute?

If you think other would be interested in this encoding, send it my way, and I'll throw it in there... adam -- =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Adam T.
