Hi there, I'm trying to get some poems in a bilingual document using streams. According to the wiki (http://wiki.contextgarden.net/Columns#Streams), this example should work: \usemodule[streams] \def\StartCouple{\page\SwitchToNormal} \def\StopCouple{\SwitchToNormal\SynchronizeLeftAndRight\FlushLeftAndRight} \def\Original{\SwitchToNormal\SynchronizeLeftAndRight\SwitchToLeft} \def\Translation{\SwitchToRight} \starttext \StartCouple \Original\en Are you sleeping, brother John? \Translation\de Bruder Jakob, schläfst du noch? \StopCouple \stottext But I get this error: l.19 \defineoutputstream [\v!left] ! ==> Fatal error occurred, no output PDF file produced! mtx-context | fatal error: return code: 1 Compilation failed. The example at http://source.contextgarden.net/m-streams.tex (referenced by the wiki page) doesn't work for me either. This is all Greek to me. What am I missing here? Thanks for your help, Pablo -- http://www.ousia.tk

You don’t need the module to use streams, read this older message: http://www.ntg.nl/pipermail/ntg-context/2011/063353.html Wolfgang

Many thanks for your answer, Wolfgang. As the reply to that message (http://www.ntg.nl/pipermail/ntg-context/2011/063358.html), I wonder how could I get facing chapters with Greek text with facing pages containing the Spanish translation. I'm afraid that the code you provided is too complex for me (I don't understand a word there). Many thanks for your help, Pablo -- http://www.ousia.tk
