the money pays for the facilities. They don't make money on these classes.
hm, 20 * 400 = quite some money for a room that tug got for free -)
hm... this is the kind of p... news I don't know much about. Everyone wants to make a fast buck/euro it seems. Why they are so greedy is beyond me. Shall I write to the Lithuanian group and ask them to make a donation?
waste of energy, better go for the publishers who sell books; since so many tex users use / combine tex with things like perl and so ... do you know someone inside O'Reilly ?
no, it's in the intermediate hands (mac millan and so; don't know them that good, but they seem to be real large)
really.... can't we get a website up to name names of those able to donate?
don't over estimate me, i have no contacts over there, (small company, few customers), you need people from the beginning of tex and/or publishing houses (they know where they go to) [maybe nelson know, since he knows everything related to tex]
The western and indian clocks don't seem to synchronize very well.
ha, a few month ago i saw something on television: indian companies acting for usa companies, things like phoning people who don't pay their bills, they are masters in pretending to phone from texas (they also showed how they got classes in english, local history, texan accent, etc); so: they can sync -) serve the community better. I just can't seem to get anyone interested
in doing the sponsorhsip and website work. :-(
