Hi all, if I try to put \placelist in \framed an error (You can't use `\prevdepth' in restricted horizontal mode) occurs. \starttext \framed [background=color, backgroundcolor=gray] {\placelist[section]} \dorecurse{10}{\section{test #1} \input tufte } \stoptext So what is the way to put a background behind the list? Greeting Andreas

putting it in a \vbox works, but \startframedtext ... \stopframedtext is nicer: \startframedtext [background=color,width=\the\hsize,backgroundcolor=gray] \placelist[section] \stopframedtext Best wishes, Taco
